Refund Policy

At Notase, we want you to be completely satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are granted. By subscribing to Notase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all new paid subscribers. If you are not satisfied with Notase within the first 30 days of your initial paid subscription, you may request a full refund of your subscription fee.

  • This guarantee applies only to the first billing cycle of a new subscription.
  • The 30-day period begins on the date your first paid subscription charge is processed.
  • This guarantee does not apply to subscription renewals, upgrades, or additional charges beyond the initial billing cycle.

2. Free Trial

Notase offers a 14-day free trial that does not require a credit card. Since no payment is collected during the free trial, no refund is applicable. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan within or after the trial period, your trial account will be downgraded automatically and no charges will be incurred.

3. Cancellations

3.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your account billing settings within the Notase platform.
  • Contacting our support team at support@notase.com.

3.2 What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will continue to have access to all paid features until the end of the billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free tier with limited access.
  • No further charges will be applied after cancellation.
  • Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period (unless within the 30-day money-back guarantee period).

4. Refund Eligibility

4.1 Eligible for Refund

  • Requests made within the 30-day money-back guarantee period for first-time subscribers.
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors verified by our team.
  • Service outages or failures lasting more than 72 consecutive hours, as documented by our status monitoring.
  • Unauthorized charges on your account (subject to verification).

4.2 Not Eligible for Refund

  • Requests made after the 30-day money-back guarantee period on renewal charges.
  • Partial-month or partial-period usage (subscriptions are billed for full billing periods).
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan (credit may be applied to future billing instead).
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle when the customer intended to cancel.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our billing team:

  • Your registered email address
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Any relevant transaction IDs or receipts

6. Refund Processing

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 3-5 business days.
  • Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method via Stripe.
  • Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.

7. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

7.1 Upgrades

When you upgrade your plan, the price difference is prorated for the remainder of your current billing period. You are charged the prorated amount immediately and gain instant access to the higher-tier features.

7.2 Downgrades

When you downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until the end of the current billing period. Prorated credits for downgrades are not issued as refunds but may be applied as credits toward future billing.

8. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are subject to the same 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. After the 30-day period, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel an annual subscription, you will retain access to the Service until the end of the annual billing period.

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to existing subscribers via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
